The "accepted" story of Kentares massacre is mostly self-serving Davion propaganda anyway. There's even a rumor going around that the event was intentionally instigated by Davion troops. These Davion troops were ordered to dress as civilians and attack Kuritan soldiers in order to provoke violent retribution against the civilian population. Federeted Suns was losing and was desperate to gain some moral ammunition against the DCMS, population of Kentares IV was deemed an acceptable sacrifice.

Assassination of Minoru Kurita happened there as well, but it was apparently not the true cause though admittedly it did fuel the fires quite a bit.

You know, the whole "Draconis Combine" is just a propaganda creation of the Davies. They don't exist.

The atrocities that the DCMS committed on Kentares can not be swept away by time, words, gestures, or lies. While I understand that the actions taken on Kentares were appalling to a majority of the DCMS forces that took part after the fact it says something about Draconis society that they even listened to the orders in the first place. Any societal structure that allows something like that to happen must not be allowed to flourish.

Kentares and the countless other smaller massacres of FS citizens will always drive us to strive for the day that the DC is marginalized, the day when free citizens living their lives need not worry that the DCMS will fall from the sky and bring senseless violence to their lives. The Robisnon Rangers have much first hand experience with these types of raids, they are no myth, they are no constructed propaganda, they are the truth.
