any word or news on this?
is it handled like MW3 (chopping off a leg is a kill) or like MW4 (destroying a single leg slows down the mech and disables reverse - destroying both is a kill)
opinions?
Leg Damage?... how will it be?

How about like in the TT:
One leg gone = Possible knock-down, and extreme movement reduction.
Two legs gone = Permanently prone.
I doubt it'll work like that, since I can only imagine how hard it would be to implement. But that's how I'd *like* to see it. 0=-)

I believe a blog has mentioned that a 'kill' is removing either the cockpit, the CT, or both legs. Will try to quote.
Edit: Can't find a quote to it. The expected quote only talked about Cockpit and CT damage. So getting both legs knocked out might only mean Prone.

I would assume 2 Legs is prone. Then you can be easily crushed or ignored. It makes more sense that way, no vital components are in the legs so Destroying them should not destroy your mech.

The way how I would have it is this: if the leg is blinking red on the HUD,then the mech should be limping.Once its
black, it gets destroyed.
black, it gets destroyed.

How many different possible ways can your mech get destroyed or "mechwarrior" die (i.e. Your mechwarrior takes damage from high heat levels and can "pass out" or "die" if it takes enough damage, ect..). -=Outlaw=
[DAVID] To destroy a BattleMech, you have to destroy the head, destroy the center torso, or destroy both legs. You, the MechWarrior, can never die.
Cheers.
