Hi,

we have no map for light amplification yet, so i was talking with my buddies about some ideas.
How about having a giant mountain with a waterfall where there is a cave behind to go into.
The cave would have geysirs in the inside going off every 30seconds and this will heat up the entire cave (turns everything red in thermal vision) and also affects mechs inside (increasing heat by 50%).
The heated cave will slowly cool down a bit, to make thearmal vision a bit usefull untill the next geysier.
The cave could be an old mining facility with broken in halls, crossways and some exits to go around the hill and the waterfall.

Think about the Thunder Rift at Trell 1 (GDL and Claninvasion books).

I rather think about Ishiyama on that. :)

How about the idea that they make a night and a day version of each map they have already? That sure is easier and faster to make than creating a new "night-only" map.
