This is beta. If you don't exploit the bugs until they break the game, it won't get fixed. That's how beta works.

Um why can't you go forward and run away or turn your legs and go off to the side???

I want to put in a vote for COLLISIONS slowing down a Mech. Light Mechs should bounce off big ones; right now the games are being over run by choppy-laggy lights- the big mechs (disclosure-- I slightly prefer Cats, but was enjoying all scales) can't face a tiny one, more times than not. I think at the very least, a light mech should need to have a care where it's going. I was fine with the collision/tripping "problem"-- the tradeoff of highspeed.

River Walker, please limit your ******** to one topic only. No need to make 4 threads in every forum section. You're better than that.... I think.

River, to simplify this... Campaign suggests single player or co-op. They said they would like to but this probably isn't going to happen.

What they are bringing is community warfare, with various planets to fight over, different micro-factions and houses, with the impending goal of trying to wipe each other out. It'll have supply lines, planets, benefits and punishments for each planet taken (some have better repair, some sell 'Mechs cheaper, some manufacture ammunition and thus sell it wholesale, etc.)

Far as the clipping issue is concerned, one way you can avoid it is by using a faster 'Mech that can't get trapped that way. Another way is to never let anyone get behind you.

Without "collisions" this game as good as dead...cause it known by the name "LightMechOnlineandNothingElse". I've stop playing this game after they took collisions (6 month ago?)...maybe they will fix this after more 6 month...or a f**ing year.

I'm against premades vs pugs as much as the next pug, but i dont really see what they have to do with this topic. Premades arent the source of all things evil and exploitable, they're just cheesy in the current MM (and that maybe a thing of the past now).

Also collisions are coming back in at some point after the netcode fixes. it beta and it is on the way.

Three months dead.
Necroed.
A month dead.
Necroed again.

At least you're not writing new threads... I guess.

On topic: Collisions and knockdowns need to come back, sooner the better.

I am more worried about friendlies blocking my patch. Never seen what you are writing.

I have one complaint OP.

Ever thought of just slamming full throttle forward and then making a sharp left or right turn?

Also collisions are coming, and I bet once you get knocked down and killed your going to whine about that too.

SO SHUT THE F**K up!

S!

Easy tip, stay clear of Mechs and obstacles. Sure there are players that on purpose try to ram, but having a somewhat decent SA will keep you clear from it. And to beat the horse long gone, collisions are coming back.

imho it's a valid tactic - I sometimes creep behind enemy mechs and try to push them into our fire.

Only issues I've had with this are when supposed friendlies do it to you..

yes I would like to see a light mech run into my Atlas and fall down, now if they also add melee into MWO I could step on the Raven or other light mech and smash the cockpit in, wee fun times!

Weird; whenever anybody rams me, we always just instantaneously clip through one another.

Didn't work for me this weekend. I saw a stalker at the exit of ice cave and decided to just go through him with my Awesome. I ended up bouncing (rubberbanding) back to his front several times until he alpha'd my Pretty Baby to death. I was pretty confused because I was fully expecting to run through him.
