I'm sorry to read that many people have judged this game so harshly.. it has only been in open beta for 2 days. The matchmaking was assed up before open beta, why all the hate all of the sudden? There was PuG stomping before it went open.

They have plans to fix the Matchmaking, so why don't you calm down and wait?

If you know anything about game design, its that problems aren't solved overnight, they take some time. They are monitoring the forums, and taking into consideration the things you say. So what they messed up? At least give them a CHANCE to fix their mistake before you ragequit.

Its really disappointing to see so many people raging about all the things that aren't right. Do you think they don't know that there are kinks to work out? I've heard lots of people say "Open Beta is the equivilant of Release for F2P games" and I disagree 100%... beta is there to help work out the glitches, and to smooth out the wrinkles before they release it. I'm not saying you shouldn't be upset with the current situation, I'm just saying have a little patience, and some faith.

Thats my rant on that topic.

Thanks for the rant.

However, when you go open beta, you open it to the public which means, we are ready. Well...its not.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. You will not be missed, not a single person here cares, and you will be replaced. Thank you and good night. Please leave soon while you still have a shred of dignity left.

I consider you unworthy to reason with the moment you mentioned Hawken. F off and you will not be missed.

Maybe you don't get what I am saying regarding a 3 month review. Its a review of my experience of this game over the time span of 3 months, its not going to be a play by play or a journal. I bet your write in your diary about every match before you go to bed, I am not creaming my pants over your beloved mechwarrior suckfest. It will just be the unfortunate truth in this case. A game with so much potential, ultimately wasted on greed and poor game mechanics and poor development decisions. You're a fanboy, so I don't blame you for being emotionally defensive when someone bashes the game.

Hey, don't take it out on me if you just happen to suck at the game or not understand the fundamentals. Personally I don't give a damn what you think, I just find your cry for attention here on the forums to be amusing. "Oh no, this game sucks and I'm leaving, lol bye." Your contributions to this game's Open Beta test have been noted, I'm sure- assuming you actually provided constructive feedback beyond "this game sucks, fix it."

But, hey, I wouldn't worry about it. Surely you've got a great journalistic career that keeps you satisfied and entirely too busy to waste time trolling forums. Now, my good sir, I bid you Adieu.

Well, its over. Closed Beta was a long several months, and was astounds me is...the game did not change, progress, or improve one bit.

It makes me wonder, what the hell are the developers doing with all that money they made with founders packages? From their posts, they called it a huge success. Sure it was for them, but was it for you? If you paid $60 for a game not yet ready, would it not surprise you if the final product looked improved, or peformed better than when it started?

Of course these are reasonable assumptions. However nothing could be further from the truth. The game is still horribly broken, the match making system doesn't exist. It takes a premade team and pulls in pugs to fill the rest of the slots.

It was a relief actually, getting rid of this game, as it can no longer waste my time or emotions on something so fruitless, bland, and generally not fun at all. So many of us wanted to love this game, on concept alone, however its the execution that matters. That is where this game falters.

Adeiu my fellow puggers! Fare the well, on to better things...like Hawken.

better game without you

I don't disagree, they messed up by going open beta so soon, just give them half a chance to fix their mistake. What are the MAIN problems everyone is focusing on?

1. Matchmaking is shafted. They are working on that, in the meantime, join a clan with teamspeak, communicate with the rest of your team, and kick names.

2. Oh, thats right, the only massive complaint is that MM is messed up, and it is turning off the new players.

It's funny to hear you bail so quickly. The level of polish is better than other AAA games I've played, and balance is an issue we should see even out as mechs get additional options and upgrades to help oddball builds be more effective. I hope you post some issues you're having and see if there is anything I can do to help you enjoy your time in MWO more.

I did get a refund, press them on it, they should give it to you if you are not satisfied with the product.

I don't even know what journalism career you are referring to, I post movie reviews as a hobby, and I will add a game section to it dedicated to MWO as the center piece.

Quite the crappy hobby you have when you review an unfinished product...do you halfway through a cake being made take a handful of batter eat it and scream out "This cake sucks!"

Because that's pretty much what I got from this. Also can you uninstall your ability to visit this forum as you aren't playing the game and thus really have no reason to be here...like at all...unless you are just wanting attention...

And there you have it. I'm sure you have seen, heard, or read this about 40 billion times already, but it doesn't seem to have registered. You are certainly not alone in this. Let's see if we can say this one more time and perhaps someone who reads this will finally get it:

This is not a final product. This is not a game. This is a beta phase for a beta client.

Have a nice day.
