I have only played about 20 matches so I am a total noob to this game. My stats are something like 0 kills and 12 deaths so I am not very good (downright terrible).
For context, I have enjoyed the Battletech/ Mechwarrior franchise for a long time and I am quite familiar with all the games. This game despite being in beta reminds me of a normal FPS in a market saturated with them. Its only hook is you fight with giant robots to those unfamiliar with the Battletech universe. I would like to see it become a little more strategic to stick out from the crowd.
As stated above I have limited experience with this game so please correct me if I misstate something or suggest something already gone over
.
1. I would like to see bigger maps. The matches that I have been involved in last an average of 3-5 minutes if that long and seem to have little strategy from a pug point of view. It seems to be just full speed ahead and button smash.
2. What happened to the Raven? It would be cool to have advanced sensors to out sensor the enemy and sensor jammers. Other mechs should do it like commando etc.
3. Put in a C3 mech like the Cyclops. Scouts would send back sensor data and the Cyclops could paint the priority of targets on everyones hud. This would be a good answer for silent pugs.
4. Make players choose a faction (a great house) so you would have different mech chassis fighting. No Ravens cancelling other Ravens.
These are just some suggestions but I dont want to ramble so I will wrap up.
One more thing, I dont mind the premade vs pug dilemma. From a pug point of view it just makes me better slowly but there seems to be little difference in the battles and they can get boring quickly.

Bigger maps yes.
Raven: ECM etc is not in yet. It will be coming soon.
People area able to to choose faction. Faction warfare is not implemented yet. That is a way down the road.
Match Making fix is starting with next weeks patch.

Good post but a lot of these are already in development to be implemented at a later time. Check out some of the stickies and official dev threads on what's getting implemented. Good to hear that you are enjoying the game and you'll get better at tactics as you go. I'd also suggest reading some of the posts in the guides sections of the forum

1. People have been calling for larger maps since before we even had our hands on the game. Supposedly they will have more variety in map size as they continue to add more maps to the game. I agree in hoping for some much larger play areas than what we have currently.
2. ECM and Active Probes have placeholders in the game right now (stock on the 3L Raven, but they don't show up in your buy lists), but their functionality hasn't been implemented yet.
3. I don't know the current status of C3, but it has been discussed at length in the past. It will probably show up eventually, but I couldn't really speculate on exactly what it will do.
4. Community Warfare (IE, Faction Warfare) is coming at some point in the future - but they've already stated quite emphatically that every faction will have access to every 'mech type. Though they may increase the price for factions that don't regularly use that particular chassis.

Devs have already stated that bigger maps are coming (it is unknown how much bigger though). Also, there are quite a few strategic options even on current maps.

ECM and BAP are not functional yet. According to devs, they should be fixed Soon - might be in the next patch.

As far as I know, there are no immediate plans for C3. It might be added in the future, but who knows?

Mechs are not exclusive to a given House, so this just won't work.

Welcome and have fun. The kills and wins will come. Like anything else, it takes some practice.

Thank you for the positive feedback. You brought forth issues you thought needed attention and then brought forth a solution. THIS is how it needs to be done. +1 to OP for no flaming
