Q. Will MechWarrior have support for custom mapping joysticks/other input devices? (multiple device support?)
A. We have partnered with some of the industry’s biggest hardware manufacturers and will be doing our best to support all types of joysticks and flight systems.

Has most the the keys near WSAD but a few are missing like z and x. I mean I would probably reconfigure them if there are no default settings for it. But, hey a thought.

Yes yes. But there is no harm in politely reminding them. You completely missed the point of the thread.

It's a Champ GEMINI model JS-2020; just over twelve years old.
I suppose there's a reason why I never got accostumed to using one of those damn things.

Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS
Saitek Combat Pro Rudder Pedals
(TrackIR 5 too if they will slip support in for that, it would be great!)

Saitek Pro-Flight rudder pedals
TrackIR4 (using TrackIR 5 software).
Hoping it's all supported, and yeah, if they went dual-joystick, I'd stretch for that

(I'd love a Warthog setup, but can't afford that, wife would off me in my sleep if I got those)

Works fine, but the precision of a mouse is not comparable :-(
But I play with the joystick, no matter what it cost me in game.
For me a Mech has no mouse and keyb for steering control

The second think would be, joystick turret return, so you can hold the target, and if you go to center the turet follows

But this is hard to program, cause you must do that for every mechtype. And every mech has it own turret radius and you can tweak the radius with xp-modules.
But I hope.
