For me, the four that jump out at me are the Jenner, Hunchback, Catapult, and Awesome.
Jenner has been a main mech for me in almost every game I've played (CCG, MW2, TT primarily), has always had a rediculous amount of firepower for a mech of it's size, fast, and about the only thing I dont like is the extended cockpit that can be cherry-picked for easy headshots. Still, she's been reliable for years, and I wouldnt give her up for anything.
Hunchback is the brawling mech I would love to have pushing the lines. It's AC20 makes the Hunchback scary no mater what mech you're bringing, if it lands the shot, you're crippled if not outright dead. It's one of the few mechs I feel that has a chance against alot of mechs in the Heavy classification, and I feel will be one of the stronger mechs avalible on launch.
Catapult is the support mech I've been looking for. While others cringe at missle-boating, I've always enjoyed it since it forces people to cover, and the damage is not direct, so dispite you taking alot of it, it's going to be cascaded all around your mech. That being said, if they have a critical system like in TT, this will be a boon for the Catapult to render parts inoperable.
Awesome is exactly what the title says. It's a long-range sniping mech with some of the best range avalible. It's one of the few assault mechs that doesnt need to be 100 tons to be effective. In fact, I am kinda doubting the Atlas and it's abilities compared to the Awesome. This is by far my heavy mech of choice (Unless the release a Stalker, but that's another discussion).
As for mechs that are not 'unseen' that havent been released, I'd have to give more thought on. Quite frankly, I'd like to make sure there is a mech with default specs geared towards Sniping, Missle Support, Brawling, Skirmishing, and Command in each wieght class. (Jenner - Skirmisher, Commando - Brawler, Panther - Sniper, etc)
