So I make it to the back of the enemy base, and I'm rewarded with someone's Centurion sitting there, un-piloted. How is this a good thing for the game, you might ask? Now the player who finds an AFKer can test his/her weapons load out, so they don't have to guess about how effective weapons are, how much armor they can deal with, exactly where to shoot on a mech to take out a given component, etc. It serves the same purpose as WoT's test server. Like any public good, there's a price for AFKers-if they're on your team, you're at a disadvantage. But everyone benefits overall, since the amount that the community as a whole knows about weapon performance increases.

Idle/AFK

Just report them and be done with it. Devs are definitely watching for this
- Players that fail to provide any input will be kicked from a match Although it does not prevent a macro player from simply putting in inputs, it forces them to LOOK like a bot.

I hope so but identifying and dealing with AFKers takes time which is frustrating for the player because we want instant action.
And if they require game input to defeat the AKF checker, a player could replay the game at the lowest resolution in window mod and watch a movie in another screen while 'looking' around in the game.
