This post is probably going in the wrong place, but for some reason I can't find a "bug reports" forum here. As a suggestion to your community manager: put a ******* bug report forum in, this is bush league!
Anyhoo.
I am having to install the game approximately 30 mb at a time. If I was someone who was not really interested in playing your game, I would have given up by now.
1. run MechWarriorOnline.exe
2. Patcher starts up
3. I press "Patch"
4. The patcher runs normally
5. After 30-40 mb is downloaded, the patcher halts downloading
6. I press the X in the upper right of the patcher window to close it
7. I attempt to run MechWarriorOnline.exe again
8. An alert informs me that "that application is already running"
9. ~ If I leave the malfunctioning patcher open, 5-10 minutes later it will inform me that "the operation has timed out."
Using my Task Manager, I can turn off MWOPatcher.exe and open it again, it will jump to the last point downloaded, and continue again for 30-40 mb before locking up again.
Suggestion:
Provide a .torrent or direct download link to allow users to circumnavigate this issue.
System:
Win 7, well above whatever your max specs are, fully up to date and legal OS, chrome, Wireless N w/high end internet, specifics if needed.

only thing I can suggest is two fold: run antivirus to see if something is tweaking the computer, and plug in to your router with an ether cable because, maybe, just maybe there is a glitch in the radio of your wireless or other interference... just guessing. side note, my pc, win7 fully update, chrome/IE had no issues installing MWO, but, I was connected by an ether cable, hence my guess.

@Rejarial
Thanks for your response!
re: Network
It'd just be MWO that was having a problem, I patched up another two games today without an issue, and have been streaming HD video no problem (I turned all of these off while testing the MWO patcher).
Sadly, my computer is not in a position where it can be physically connected to a router.

This computer is clean.

run as admin, use different tempfolder, turn off antivirus and firewall for the installation.
