Dear mods, here's another issue i had with the game as described by the OP. The total meldown of all collision isn't acceptable to me though.

I remember long ago when we had collison, I jumped off a cliff with my Awesome and landed on the head of an Atlas, but all that appeared to happen was my mech fell down. I thought 80 tons on an Atlas's head would be a DFA?

Collision damage was never high enough to make a DFA worthwile, unless the target was about to die anyway. Still dropping onto an enemy atlas was a valid tactic if he had more firepower than you. I've had friendly atlases fall on top of mine on occasion, it was usually the end of the fight when that happened.

DFA was never implemented, I jumped from the River City cliff, the one in the west, right on top of a commando who was chilling down below, yeah, we both fell and it's armor was yellow, totally worth it...........NOT
