Hey all and welcome to the game!

Seeing as how I can't post in the 'Welcome' section for some reason, I thought I'd drop this here.

Anywho, my name is nungunz! Been in here since the Founders got access and have played a bunch of games (both in PUGs and in Premades).

Feel free to ask any questions, hints, tips about the game or drop me a PM.

I'm also happy to group with anyone that's interested in learning the ropes.

Currently there is no lobby in game so we can't chat there, but there is a teamspeak server for the Beta set up. It's a great way to get into the game and talk to people (headset/microphone required).

They also have an excellent training grounds channel where other experienced people will drop into a game and help you out.

Once again, welcome to the game, pilots! Go nuts on your questions.

Ohms reference guide (top link) is the best thing you can find on these forums! New players, USE IT!

I'm going to keep bumping this as all the helpful threads are being burried in the drivel.

Currently it isn't implemented in-game but should be added soon.

Just wanted to say Thanks for the offering help, I got the basics down after reading the fourms and posts like this, one of the first things I read is "expect to die alot at the beginning" I also read that it would take 100 deaths before getting a kill but I am already in the double digits.

Just trying to save up for a medium mech right now and hoping to catch on with an outfit with voicechat.

Just wanted to let all the veterans know your fourm topics/tips are helping

Remember boyo's, for every negative thread that is going on, there are literally hundreds if not thousands of players willing to help you. Reach out.

Hell, we were giving tips to new players ON THE OTHER TEAM last night. Good times.

Vandul, in PUGs I've actually just been finding a corner, power down, and answer questions, giving advice, and coordinating the battle to help out.

It's a pain in the neck to do without voice-chat, hence the need to power down and keep the battlegrid open. Takes me out of the game, but a lot of people appreciate the help.
