The BattleZone4 League had a 3D manipulatable star system with fantastic play elements... I can even begin to explain how awesome it was. Anyone out there that remembers?

The 3D starmap was a nice feature, rest of the league was pretty average though. And they allowed forum signatures that filled the entire screen.
