Anyone know of a way to force mwo to NOT be run w/ admin privileges on windows 7? Running mwo with admin privileges causes Setpoint to not work with MWO.
With other software, running it as non-admin fixed the problem.

thanks

Try running setpoint as admin as well? It may give it the same priority. I had to do that with Ventrilo so my hotkeys would work in game.

Running setpoint as admin doesn't fix the problem.

Try reinstalling setpoint? Both my mouse and bluetooth keyboard use setpoint and I haven't tweaked the elevation of neither MWO nor setpoint and it works fine. So my guess would be that your setpoint installation is to blame.

I use Win7 + setpoint and I specifically run MWO as administrator. Never had a problem.

As others have said, try uninstalling and re-installing Setpoint.

Also, make sure you have the latest version of Setpoint.

Once the mouse is setup, close down Setpoint then test.

I am testing running the game with Standard User privileges as described in the link above. As of now I have no issues but only the devs probably know does the game really need Administrator rights.
