LRM boats and some other complaints

- First i think that LRM damage shoud be reduced
- Second AMS efficiency needs to be improved
- Also im trying to hide near buldings but i also see some of missiles go through bulding
- İncrease the cost of LRM ammo
- Put trial mechs without LRM
- İm playing game on lowest settings because of ram crashes now is ok
- Also to say dont buy double heat sinks cant put them on legs etc total waste......

TLDR: I overheated and got my rear armor critically penetrated by a premade lrmcat team. My ams didnt shoot down 1400 missiles in the 5 seconds I stood in the river.

As a Closed Beta Tester, I know that they increased LRM damage by ~50%. Too many people were whining about how useless they were, as they were like hurling styrofoam and a tank, and I can personally confirm this fact. They also increased heat generated by LRMs, and also increased ammo cost by a fair amount. These stats were just pulled from memory (I think) and so if anyone has refined/actual stats, please correct me. Personally, I think LRMs were fine back before the OP patch for them came out.

Currently, entire teams need to have AMS on their mechs. I do some pick up games, and most new players do not equip AMS yet. Making pugs easy targets for LRM teams. Our merc unit usually stays close to each other to overlap missle coverage, and reduce some damage. Some LRM's do get through with 9 ams (one atlas -K). LRM's are easy to master, but with some light mechs and teamwork you can win. Hopefully, the dev's will provide more aid to newer players entering OB. Good luck !

AFAIK they got doubled in dmg, to 2 dmg per missle, up from 1 dmg per missile (Tabletop says 1 Dmg per missle for LRMs)... Each LRM 20 is like fitting 2 AC20's i.e 40 dmg per volley. Given the skill level required to use them(low)...this seems rather high given their accuracy, range and rate of fire (and the way they pass through terrain and hit anyway). Doubling their damage without doubling their hardpoint slot budget and tonnage was a mistake, plain and simple.

Dont nerf them... just make LRM boats realistic, by that i mean ONE AND ONLY ONE PER TEAM!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THEY ARE SO BS WHEN EVEN TWO ARE ON A TEAM(yes im ****ING mad)!!! i got in a random where 4 lrmboats useing 3 lrm 15s on each arm ... i had 90pts of armor on my front in an atlas(10 on the back) they said "oh hey you got a lot of armor on ya dont ya? let me just alpha that off for ya" one burst took off all but red armor on my RT CT and LT the second took me to yellow RT CT and LT then the third to critical red and the last one only fired like 1 volly from each arm they all chain fired their mechs as in cata 1 blew his load immediately followed by cata 2 blowing his and so on.... they melted me within 40 seconds of a match and tore the rest of my team appart in 2 more minuets.... so dont bother nerfing them if you do you'll just put a bandage on the problem just make it so the matchmaking resticts a team to 1 AT MOST 2 lrm boats per team... 3 lrm 15s on each arm fire 90 missles THATS ****ING 180 DAMAGE... these are supposed to be support mechs NOT THE MAIN DPS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE FIX THIS I DONT EVEN LOG ON ANY MORE BECAUSE OF THE DAMN THINGS

also Timberwolves need to come out soon... i know theyre omnis and that currently doesnt work out but if ya have to and im mean HAVE to just make the sholders fire missles the torso use MGs and the arms lasers... some of my buddies concider the atlas to be the stapple mech of this game but if i shout MECHWARRIOR in a skype call all i get back is OMG MADCATS

increase efficiency of the ams but make it burn through ammo faster would be a great fix. My ams with one case of ammo for it is always above 50 percent at the end of a match. Keep in mind LRMs don't shoot under 180 meters and a jenner can kill an LRM boat really easy.

lrm boats gets killed by lights fast and close!
and i mean nasty!
