Play a light. Fill it with lasers. Move at top speed.

After numerous games, that seems to be the only thing needed to achieve victory. This can't even be counted as player incompetence, the fact that anything other then a light turns slower then an iceberg makes it a near guaranteed success. Most light mechs I've seen tend to run as many weapons, and of the same sort, as the assaults. The only thing heavier mechs have is armor. Light mechs have a complete inability to be hit.

I have seen premade lance teams torn apart by a few people in light mechs. I have ran around and gotten 400+ damage in a raven. This is so insane.
