Good performance doesn't always equal good salvage, unfortunately. If I'm in an LRM carrier blowing things up, collateral damage is inevitable and legging a target fatally is rare.

But he's correct in that killing with precise shooting to the legs in head makes for better salvage rewards. If all you're doing is coring your targets, you're going to get less money simply because you leave less of your target behind when it drops.
