MechWarrior Online is a team based game, yet the HUD does NOT communicate the status of your teammates. The developers should really consider adding a team status bar/list on the left side of the HUD (can be toggled on/off) and would show the following information:

Player 1 Name *
AS7-K: 54%

Player 2 Name
JR7-D: Dead

...

Player 8 Name
HBK-4J: 88%

Note, you can identify the leader of your group by the small star next to their name and players that are dead will have red text for quick visual indication. This change would not be too difficult to implement into the game and would definitely promote/support teamwork.

I like the idea, I belive that Mechwarrior 3 had something similar, though I believe that it was a separate screen. I like the idea of being able to check on the status of your team mates in a quick glance. I think it will not be added any time soon, but I hope that they keep it in mind for the future.
