Can we have something like Ubuntu's Brainstorm where ideas can be submitted by anybody, leave a description, maybe a way to attach a few images. Then, that idea can be discussed and voted on by the community at large?

Possibly even one for bugs...

This way it gives Devs ideas to better user experience.

You could even ban things like buff/nerf reqests to keep it turning into a flame war.

Anyway, just an idea.

Me too! I want the Devs to know what really matters to us instead of a vague sense of what's going on. The more information the Devs have the better it is for all of us! ;)

Why not just Like a post. There is already a button there.

What are you suggesting that goes beyond the Like button?

Go look at http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/ for what is different. For submitting ideas for new feautres or fixes for UI, using the forums makes it easy for things to be missed by people trying to "like" other people's ideas.

Forums also lend themselves to flame wars.
