I had no insterest in amazing spider man. It looked bad from trailer. Reviews confirmed my thoughts.

Dark Knight Rises fell flat in many ways for me. Despite Hathaway and Gordon-Levitt's performances.

Dredd did not look interesting to me. I might pick up the DVD when its sold at $10 or less.

Expendables 2 had some moments but over all it was flat as if every one phoned it in. The first move had energy, as if every one involved was having allot of fun. 2 felt like a bunch of guys hanging out watching TV.

Total Recall just looked dumb. I saw a bunch of trailers and it looked like a bunch of strung together action scenes. I think Ebert got it right when he said it did not have the emotional depth that Arnold gave it.

Loopers was a good movie. Its the only action movie that I can remember seeing this year.

However the best move I saw in the theater this year was Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I just stared at a blank white screen for 2 hours, was more enjoyable than any of the movies you listed.

Enjoyed the heck out of "Dredd" and thought they did a great job porting over "The Raid: Redemption" ("Serbuan Muat") to international audiences and kept in the spirit of the comics.

"Avengers" ranks up there for best action movie of 2012 - it certainly was the best Hulk movie ever.

Despite the pretty wooden acting, "Act of Valor" was a fantastic military action movie.

I've got a lot of hope riding on "The Man with the Iron Fists" and "Django Unchained".
