Id just like to remind everyone that constructive criticism is whats needed. Saying something is garbage and is just broken and then crying about it helps nobody. This is a new game in a new phase of development. Lets try and keep the positive vibes going. there is enough negativity around already, lets not feed it.

If you spot an issue point it out, explain why its a problem and what you think could be done to fix it.

The devs work damn hard and working on a project like this it must be stressful, very intensive, and be grueling at times. So lets try and give them something positive back

I know the game has flaws but lets give them the time they need to fix them

Nah. I wanna be vague and unhelpful.

Because anything else would require...effort. And I just can't have that. It's all about me, you know. And I should be catered to as a result.

I think a lot of people tried that, IMHO it seems it does not work too well.

Most of the time either it was plainly ignored or you got flamed for it by the "hurraaayyy a mechgame! lets throw money at it!" and "its beta" people.

Altough: I haven't given up yet!
I still got founders and try to support and improve the game (trough feedback) - the most constructive thing to the community I can say:
  • Before you get mad, just take a break people.
  • Try to look further ahead then your own feet, because you're not the only one playing. Other players concerns can still be valid if (you think) they don't affect you.

/end_snark

Actually... I totally agree. All forums... across the world, regarding any subject and in every genre... could use less whine and more logical thought. And.. maybe some attention to grammar too :D

Bring it on!

Wow...tough room tonight.

Anyway. I used to have the same problem when I was doing websites.

"Don't just tell me "It sucks." Tell me WHY it sucks! I'm not a mind reader! There has to be a mind to read first..."

You can only give "constructive criticism" for so long before expecting to see some results, or even promise of results. Past that point, the criticism tends to become less constructive...

@OP, I agree 100%, patches don't grow on trees, and probems don't fix themselves. Give them a chance, and they will amaze you. Look at all they have done already!

LOL.. Sorry Zakius .. that was not an attack on your grammar .. apologies if it came off that way . I was just trying to type like a dork to make the "I h8 ur post, without ne reeson 2 give" joke sell better.

P.S. I personally hate it that people use twitter/texting speak while sitting at a full keyboard. It pains me to even fake it for the sake of humor.

I understand people get frustrated, mostly because of the deep passion of this game. Rome was not built in a day, and when possible looking past the frustration and working with, as apposed to against will always net better results. Nonconstructive posts drown out more important content and information, while also avoid getting to the crux of the problem, this slows down PGI reviewing and fixing it.
