I am not use to the new looks, but I think they will grow on me. I think the centurion does improve the most. I am not sure if I like the Catapult, but I think it is good that it looks a lot different than the Timberwolf...

So far my two favorites have been the Centurion (looks like a positive brawler now!) and the Commando.

I'm still hoping a King Crab makes an appearence though....and an Archer! :-D

In all fairness a lot of the TRO art looks bog-awful, FD has given new life to otherwise bland looking mechs, the Commando no longer looks like a power ranger zord, it has to be my fav redesign sofar.

I would like to see what he does to the Raven, which always looked good despite the TRO art.

Oh wow, that is pretty. I love the way he manages to improve on little things (giving the torso a pivot point, making the legs sturdier and more functional, overall slimming/bulking to make it less oddly proportioned), yet overall you look at it and it is near instantly clear what it is supposed to be.

Overall, I really like the path he's taking with the redesigns. They just seem to take the concept that made me love the series in the first place: that these are large, functional machines of war (not pretty flying things like some other series display mechs as). They have purpose, intent, and yet manage to keep a fantastically stylish look through it all. (Or maybe the stylish look comes from the fact that they do look like they have a purpose? )

I really like the new Commando it has a dangerous look now that i think it lacked before. They are all solid though imho. I want to see FD update the Orion and the Zeus.

Get out of here, Stalker...

Seriously, FD's Stalker redesign is a beastly looking assault mech.
