Updated with Nov. 20th patch (Cataphract). No info available about CTF-3L, so I put that as (TBA?).

Edit: The 3L needs MASC, so I guess it won't be available until MASC is.

Knowing that I can mount dual AC5s in each arm or a Gauss in each arm I'm slightly less excited for the Jagermech (though I'm, by no means, still not VERY excited for it all the same). It will hold me over until then.

Sadly, the Battlemaster is one of the Unseen, and as such it is unlikely to ever be in the game.

The original design from Dougram/Crusher Joe is unseen. Catalyst Game Labs has reseen designs of each of the unseen 'mechs (do a Google search of Battletech TRO Project Phoenix). As long as they don't use the unseen design, the Battlemaster is fair game.

(The Battlemaster is my favorite assault battlemech, next to the Dire Wolf).

No offence, and not to get dragged into a opinion war, but the reseen designs are fugly as hell. I've played BT since mid-late 80's, so the Unseen are pretty iconic BT for me.

What I'd really like to see would be for PGI to do their take on the Unseen; they've done an absolutely fantastic job of re-interpreting the 'mechs so far.

No worries. I'm not a fan of many of the reseen designs myself, although my favorite one of them is the Phoenix Hawk, though the Battlemaster isn't that far behind it.

I'm all for PGI to reinterpret the unseen 'mechs. I like what they've done with the current ones as well. It just seems that so many forum members believe that the unseen designs are still unseen, without any hope of a good redesign by PGI. I'm pretty confident that we'll see some form of a Warhammer, Marauder, or Battlemaster in the future. After all, those are very iconic 'mechs, especially since the Battlemaster is the Battletech Table Top Game Logo.

Does anyone share my concerns over the mech schedule? According to the ingame date and the btech lore, Clans should be in the periphery right now, something that is hinted to in the news flashes. And they should be invading the successor states an about two month's. So we get one mech a month? I had hoped by the time the clans came we would have upwards of 30 mech chassis available to us. Everyone's all a twitter about getting a timberwolf, direwolf or maddog, but by this schedule we still wont have the originally announced mechs for the game.
