My all time favourite pen & paper game. I want to be excited but I've been hurt by Shadowrun video games before.

(I do like the "Sorry!" part though :) )

I wish I could play this multi-player with my friends, have this maybe replace what used to be our gaming night, since we can't all get together readily. I know there are plenty of virtual tabletops out there, but to be perfectly honest, I would love to have something like this for Earthdawn, where I can develop stories myself and/or take on the stories put in by the developers. Hell, I'd kick in for a fully realized 2D overhead version of the MechWarrior RPG.

Sounds like multiplay of any sort is out, at least until the game launches. But I like the way you think, amigo. Earthdawn was a pretty epic game and I played many, many hours of it. I rarely hear of anybody else who played it, so, cheers, Kay Wolf!

Thank you. It's odd to me that my interest in the game began to falter when RedBrick LLC got into the picture. I tried to force myself to stick with the game, but simply couldn't. I don't believe RedBrick is doing anything wrong, not in the least; after all, it IS their property, now; however, I just don't care for it, anymore. I especially don't care for it now that they've released the game rebuilt for D20, Savage Worlds, and Pathfinder. Earthdawn is a highly unique system, one-of-its-kind, and it should remain that way; the people who called it dislike the system are those who failed to put any effort or time into it, and that's too bad.

Now, back to Shadowrun... I think I will probably play this when it comes out; I don't mind single-player, with resource management and what-not, but I would still love to kick around with my game group.
