You haven't given enough details to determine your answer. So, here's min specs for your PC.

Turn the graphics down to minimum and see if it stabilizes.

Hi there.

Running into the same problems as well. I've turned down all the graphic settings to lowest but I still get the same performance.

I'm on:

Intel Core i7 950 @3.07 GHZ
Corsair 6GB DDR3 RAM
Nividia Geforce GTX 460
Windows 7 Home

ingame graphic option suck. if they are not enough, try a modified config. problem: the performance guides/workarounds from the beta forum are still missing.

nothing, games rarely have a stable fps. If you look at the edge of the map there's nothing going on so you get high fps, look at a fight and fps goes down (a lot in this game, unfortunately).

On that resolution chances are you're cpu limited even though your gpu is quite old and slow. mechwarrior online is way cpu hungry.

Advice with graphics issues has always been try lower settings, I challenge that, try all the settings. I've had better luck with very high settings then the lower ones for stability and fps.

anything you think i have not added for information is not listed because they exceed or meet the reccommended requirements. what i have listed is where i believe the problem exists or only meet minimum requi.
