[PERF] Radar not showing enemies until ontop of them?

Just something I noticed... I'll physically see an enemy before they show up on radar... almost like active/passive radar modes exist from previous Mechwarrior games.

Is this a performance issue or a feature I'm unaware of in this game? Say they're one grid-square away on the map. I can see them, but they're not on the radar until after they've fired a few rounds at me.

There has to be a certain amount of them visible to your sensor dome on your mech before you can target them enough to achieve weapon lock. You may be able to see part of them but until a decent amount of the enemy is visible you won't be able to target them.

I believe the amount you need to see goes down as you get closer.

Basically, you need to see their center of mass to be able to get a target lock on them. if it's just the shoulder peeking over a rock, you can't get a lock
