Long, long ago there was an unofficial setting for Battletech called Colony World Myops. I loved its background and I think it deserved attention. The idea of a non ftl spaceship travelling in space while ftl developed was fascinating to me.
The site disappeared around 16 years ago but still a copy of it can be read.
Do you know it? Did you like it as I did?

Dear lord! Colony World Myops. That brings me back to rec.games.mecha and my early online years! Yeah, I remember that. Was the creation of Prabal Nandy, one of the more active and well-respected members of the r.g.m. newsgroup on usenet back in the mid 90's.

Man... I feel old now.
