Sorry if this has been pointed out before. In the Old Issues sub forum here there is a post DOUBLE HEATSINKS DON'T ADD UP FOR ENGINE REQUIREMENTS

Isn't the behavior described the way its supposed to work? If I have a 200 engine I need to put 2 more HS on the mech whether they're DHS or SHS correct?

Yeah, I'm not sure why anyone would think that a double heatsink is more than one heatsink. It is a single item of a thing called a 'double heatsink', and while it 'sinks' double the amount of heat it is still only *one* heatsink. You are correct. Perhaps that is why it has been moved to 'old' issues?
