QQ
crybaby
entitled
whiner
*****
CoD kiddy

edit:

Fanboy
Gold defense league (and variations)
"Learn to play" phrasing
Pugstomper
Elitist
loser

basically any of the ridiculous ad-hominem attacks that are designed to insult the user rather than actually support your own stance. Who has more to add?

"fanboy/fanboi" ,its seems to only gets used by people who are unhappy with a aspect of the game and want try and invalidate the opinion of someone who's happy with it.

The community would never come to a consensus about this, this is why we have and need responsible forum moderators and administrators to keep ti under control.

Oh, I dunno, by actually explaining how the opinion expressed will have an impact on the game? Using your big-boy words?

I'll add to that list:

Fanboy
Gold defense league (and variations)
"Learn to play" phrasing
Pugstomper
Elitist

Just from the last thread I read...

Though, the chances of anyone adhering to such things that weren't already doing so out of their own decency... Unfortunately about slim to none.

To use the butchered phrase, "Can't we all just get along?"

*edit* From thread just opened:
Loser

I agree with most of these, but I feel that "pugstomping" is an accurate description of the current matchmaking paradigm for team players. Why do you feel that it does not add to discussions?

Why would they lock a thread that only seeks to improve community discourse?

PUGstomping is derogatory.

Just checked thesaurus - we should be good on synonyms for most of those, "entitlement" is a bit problematic though.

I agree with all of these - and being unsportsmanlike doesn't help in a lot of cases. There's a difference between putting a valid complaint forward and just whining though. However, the way some people deal with this could be much better.

As for "pugstomping"...I don't think there's anything wrong with the *term*, but the connotations behind it are the problem.

Unfortunately, there are those in the game who whine and QQ, and b***h and moan. You try to reason with them in a rational way, and it goes in one ear and out the other. You have to speak to them in their own language in order to be understood. :)

Sarcasm.
