Since I'm bored and I need a little amusement, decided to make a silly poll on how people think MW:O is gonna die.

Interested in the results!

(Vague and nondescript poll options, hope they are right...ugh)

Oh man, look at that showstopper bug choice go! Considering what I've been seeing on the forums, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

Double really means 1 2/5ths. See it works because there's a 2 in there.

Its like asking for 2 shots of vodka, receiving 3 shot glasses with 1 Full, 1 almost 1/2 full, 1 empty, and paying the price of the bottle.

I understand this is 'beta' but when most of the established players are using a narrow field of weapons (ballistics over energy for the most part) and the energy weapons get nerfed, how does this make sense?
The community seems to be devolving since OB. People seem to be arguing their viewpoints instead of debating with an open mind (internetz, I know). People on the verge of gathering up pitchforks in regards to upcoming patches.
The people that appear to be constructive or helpful get quickly buried under ForumFury.

LOL. Did you forget that you were told that the staff bringing you the vodka is brand new just today and never worked in the service industry? Or that some clients paid money in advance for the Vodka and are trying to constructively improve the service and the over all product?

Bad attitudes, whiners and the casual gamer mob mentality - just like they ruined all the other good mmo's out there.

Honestly the biggest thing killing this game right now is player inexperience. People complaining about gausspults and ssrmpults are too lazy to figure out how to kill them and instead want a patch that nerfs those kinds of builds to make an easier game.

Bugs and big changes are a part of beta. They will get smoothed out by the time the game releases.

The in-game community is great, the same goes for VOIP community. The only community I have trouble with is the forum community, but that's to be expected. People with complaints come here. People who have no complaints keep playing.

If PGI actually listens to the grognards about making everything exactly like the board game (double heat sinks for example)

Even successful games started rather crappy.

I assume you know Starcraft. Tha fact is, it was heavily imbalanced, US server only, no replays, bad pathing and graphics for it's time and so on and so forth and look ho far it got.

1 casual gamers do buy games they often have jobs which is why they have to be casual in the first place XD
2 not all casual gamers are stupid my friends and I group to play but we do not play dedicatedly
3 mmo's are ruined by developers trying to please people who wouldnt play regardless of the changes

MW:LL

Or it would have done if PGI didn't bully them into submission with legal threats despite the fact they started production long before PGI had even considered this game.

More constructively, the player on ramp is too steep. New players aren't gonna pay for squat if they aren't having fun to start off with. PGI should try playing 30 or so games in a trial mech against customs and see how enjoyable it is.

spend 300 mc and try out premium time my god the difference it makes, also they already said they were working on new player experience http://mwomercs.com/...nd-trial-mechs/ I agree that running trials is awful i ran one for 15 million cbills and then gave up and blew some cash for the rest... i did enough trial mech grinding in CB lol this rotation just sucks for the most part. The trials will rotate and hopefully have some better choices available
