Ran the trial AWESOME, stood on enemy cap, right on the satellite , nobody blocking cap, even killed AFK/DC to be sure he wasn't on cap at all. Nothing, nada, didn't budge ... WTF ?!?!?!

Probably a bug, although this is the first time I heard of this particular one. Submit a ticket to PGI with a map name you were on and approximate match time - they should be able to figure it out.
