I wonder if anyone has a solution to this stuff:

03/11/2012 13:17:33 - main - Caught an exception somewhere in the patcher. Closing down...
03/11/2012 13:17:33 - main - Exception: Bad state (invalid block type)

I've tried installing the game 5+ times, and even after manually cleaning the reg I consistently get this CTD but at different points in the process.

Thanks for any suggestions :D (like telling me which file I have to delete to get the patcher to restart it's current job, something like that would be nice)

edit:

I deleted objects.pak (600+mb), trying to at least get a new error, and it seems to have allowed the program to continue onto the next patch... lol I expect my new error will come later! :P

edit:

Oooo "repairing objects.pak" says Mr Patcher. So far so good :D (well, maybe. lol)

edit:

The download went into it's painfully slow mode yet again, with no explanation, so I restarted it, but now it's no longer repairing Objects.pak; it seems to have forgotten about all that and now it's doing more patchey stuffs instead... The plot thickens! lol

edit:

Installation completed and now the game CTDs before the mechlab can load up.

Back to square 1 again, I guess. lol

So that's where you've been, on the desktop :D

I'll be on ts most of the day, if you see me in the afk channel or something, poke/pm me.
I'd love to sit down and try some things as we go. To see if we can fix it.

In return you can show me the registry stuff, since I kinda want to do a fresh install as well.
But it's issues like this that are holding me back from doing it out of fear.

Catch ya soon.
