No longer getting any sort of cap reward for partially capping a base? It would seem people only get any capture c-bills/xp for winning by capping instead of attempting?

there never has been a cap bonus if your team did not win by capping.

I believe we did prior to OB. I remember distinctly always trying to step on the enemy cap point during a match to get a capture assist bonus whether or not we killed everyone or capped.
Hard to say now since it had been three weeks since I played before OB came out.

Even so we should be getting some kind of cap attempt credit..otherwise why bother to cap unless you know you team can cap it 100%?

Other than any strategic value of making the enemy think you are capping..

Drawing the enemy away is the only other reason to cap besides winning I afraid and it's been that way since at least since July. And to tell the truth I can't think of any games that give points for partial captures.

You never received a bonus if you did not cap. What you are talking about is where you walk through the base and would contribute to the capping then wait for everyone to have stepped on base. Once everyone was on, the whole team would cap and all would receive capture assist points for everyone being on the cap at one point and time. It is still there and nothing has changed.
