I'm not sure if this belongs here.

Anyways there seems to be a bug or something wrong with the pilot name reserving form. It says "Pilot names must be between 3 and 64 characters.". The actual upper limit is much less than 64 characters though.

Is the actual upper limit of characters supposed to be less or is the form bugged?

Not sure, I never tried to test the upper limits......how many characters do you need in your name ?

Well, even if pilot's name is limited to 20-something chars, I hardly see it as a problem. I mean come one, do you really need all that 64 chars for the callsign?

I just wanted to try to have an absurdly long pilot name. The name I wanted had 60 characters

My point really is that the upper limit is not 64 as it says there.

So is it a bug or typo? I'd like to know if it is going to be fixed one way or other. If the actual upper limit is going to be 64 then I'd actually like to have long username. Either by having this name changed to what I originally wanted or simply by creating new account with the name I wanted.

So with this bug fixed on the account creation page I made another account with the name I originally wanted and I've registered that account with valid email address but if I use that account I can't log into the forums. I mean I can login but when I click that "forums" link all I get is white blank page. I tried deleting cookies and another browser...

With this account (that I did not want to use for anything else than reporting this problem) works though. I can't access its account properties either...

The name of the account I created and want to use as my primary account is "PissdOffChuchNorrisWithChainsaw".

What's going on? I don't want to use this account. I want to use that other one.
