I normally like to leave my mechs named as the variant it is so I know what mech is what. I am hesitant about naming a mech something because I can't rename it. I would like to be able to rename my mechs as I am always testing and changing mechs.

I agree, but in addition, I'd really like to be able to rename my Founder's mech.
