I was recruited to House Marik when I first joined Multi-Player Battletech about 17 years ago. I had always played tabletop and MW2, but had no allegiance really. Once I joined, a mechwarrior by the name of Hanzo Hattori took me under his wing and taught me to pilot... He really spent time showing me weak spots and helping me. In the 17 years that follow I've been a part of several units, started a couple of them. I have friends that I've dropped with in thousands of drops that I still drop with today.

I've been Marik ever since.

I have been a Marik Loyalist since the beginning days of Battletech. They are the Roman Republic of the Inner Sphere and I love that. :)

That's why I'm here, now. That and the Awesome is one of my favourite mechs. My poor, poor Awesome.

The Awesome got improved. It is still squishy, though. It is a matter of silhouette, not hitboxes.

Better than nothing, though.

Who is this Sira Westland with all the badges that I've never seen before? Are you on www.house-marik.net? Have you shot Stingr4y in the back during Marik Monday Madness?

You know, Aym..... I am a strong believer in karma.....and one day.....soon, you will find yourself on the battlefield with your precious Atlai, and there will be NO back armor to save your engine.

.........I'm just saying...............

When we start doing achievements on the website, I believe there will be an award for "Atlas Stumbled" where you get points for legging Aym.

I read through some of the clan dossiers and quite frankly house marik just sounded like the best for my own personal philosophy. *nod*

Same here! You might enjoy joining www.house-marik.net
We might be the largest active MWO community, we're all in Marik because it's philosophy matches ours, and we're very friendly!

Space feudalism and autocracy does not appeal to me.
Nor does space vikings.

House Marik and the FWLM that I've joined, represents the better option.

Because I enjoyed the banter from several of the members on the forums. Checked out the website. Made a few drops with members and found a pretty good fit with several of the members having fun in the game win, lose, or draw. Just a good unit all the way around with a minimal amount douche noodleness. :P

Waitaminute! I thought that was a basic requirement. Lemme check.

Here, question No 14 on my regulan citizen application form.

Directly below: Preparedness to nuke anyone and anything (imaginary entities not excluded) that looks at us funny.
[] Yes.
[] Yes, with gusto!
[] No, I am a wuss. But I promise I can change. So, yes, hell yes!

My cat stepped on the keyboard when I was choosing my house. :/ And my cat is wiser than me, so I respect his choice.

Why? Because I like purple, eagles, freedom, and explosions?

Who doesn't like explosions?

But here's the important part; In what order do you like them? Your answers will be graded by the person standing behind with the SAFE badge. Don't worry they don't know what it stands for either.
