vs. 6-7 Atlases in a premade...
Atlases should not be this easy to get.
Not into SW but this is kind of like everyone being a Jedi.
I call bullshat, If you faces 6 Atlas then your team has 6 awesome/Atlas. Also premades dont run all one class!

That statement shows how broken this game is.
Why's that? Heavy mechs have always been weak to fast movers in Mechwarrior games because of slow torso twist and turning.
You aren't gonna kill one unless he's unsupported, but if he is, you got a good chance of ******* him up as a light.

How so? It's a shooter. Skill should be the main factor. Doesn't it always take even more skill or a lot of luck to beat a skilled player? I also kill jenners just fine in my atlas. Neither is OP.
Edit: It takes forever for a jenner to kill an atlas. On the other hand an atlas can sometimes one shot a jenner. I can't believe you're complaining.

That has nothing to do with the matching mechanism being discussed.
Reading comprehension: it's a good thing, trust me.

That is fine for Exteel or Hawken or some other generic mech game...
Not fine for Mechwarrior.
No worries, it looks like this will be only a memory soon enough.
Not a terribly bad memory, but a memory nonetheless.

I understood you just fine. I just disagree that it's the matchmaking system's fault you didn't stick together,

Heavys should be able to, literally, one-shot them.
I popped a Jenner earlier tonight with a salvo from my K2,,,4 large lasers to the chest (or maybe it was a lucky headshot). Regardless, running your obscenely fast light mech directly at a heavy is asking to be lit up.

Sadly you did not comprehend anything, you just assumed.
The pug team was sticking together just fine, 6-7 Atlases came over the hill all at once and the party ended abruptly.
Given how quick everyone died I would guess they were pretty much all equipped with streaks/gauss.
Didn't see any laser fire.

LOL...
Look, I have played competitive and been clanned/guilded/tribed/wtfeveryouwantotcallit for many years.
Pugstomping is only going to get worse by the day and is only going to do one thing: drive away potential players.
Have fun with your boredom relief, this game shows little promise in it's current state.
LL is better and made by some kids in their spare time...
If someone would have put $5M behind them we might have a decent commercial MW instead of this
arcade atrocity.

I LOL'ed with this. Don't test a Beta game then, I don't know why people come here and think they are playing the final (live) version of a game that is on development, made by fan player w/o a kickstart money. They just got 5M$ with Founders program and donations.
If you feel the game isn't enought for you, why you keep testing? (Yes testing, this is beta and nothing is final)

Yes, because you lost it MUST have been a Premade.
1) You've contributed nothing useful (A complaint Thread does not count)
2) You won't be missed (I'm not missing you Now)
3) My sides hurt from laughing at this Thread (Please Lock it already it hurts)

fail to understand whats so good in this drop layout - ye they live longer, have bigger arsenal etc but they are slow - when we got bored with killing 6th fatlas, we just moved to cap and pure lil pare of em struggled in the middle of nowhere trying to decide what to do. i mean they will totally rape newbs but against any experienced player they are just nuisance.
aside from this - sorry op, full fatlas drop is totally legit just like any other layout you can come with.

Um, lone wolf...
Dum dum, the premade team of atlases created the situation where the Assault lone wolves
were pulled into an Atlas trap like a black hole.
Just another broken part of this game.
Enjoy.
This **** happens in every single team-based FPS as well. Somebody will rush a sentry nest with a pyro, or somebody will drive a tank solo between buildings full of RPGs, or somebody will walk an Awesome into a ring of Atlases and die.
Some players are just bad.

Why does it always have to be, you’re a crap pilot. This is now way off OP, which I think was a valid discussion about the Atlas. Personally we need some 1 vs 1 missions so we can see if your so tough by yourself.
