Seriously, does anyone play with NARC? I don't think I've seen a NARC using player once in the last month or more.

Possible suggestions:
  • Get rid of the requirement to maintain a lock-on
  • Allow the NARC to be restored after lock-on is lost
  • Raise the time that NARC lasts
  • Lower the weight
  • Raise the missle per ton count
Pick one, or more, or make some of your own, but something should be done to address the crippling ineffectiveness of NARC.

Change it to a ballistic slot? Missile hard points are useful on light mechs, ballistics not so much.

Maybe make it possible on both?

Main changes I'd like to see is it last longer (30 sec atleast), and possibly more ammo....and most of all allow srm's to track target, at least half as effectively as a streak.

That is basically bt canon according to sarna...I think artemis will allow srm to track in canon too...so combine the 2 and you get srms that track as good or almost as good as strks but with one system alone still track some, but not nearly as well as strks.
