Hopefully, MechWarrior Online won't be the last MechWarrior game we see for a while. What would you like to see in the future? More games by PGI (I've noticed that each MW game has a different developer)? A retail game with singleplayer? A direct followup to MWO? A game set in a more current era (Ji-had, Dark Age)? UrbanMechs?
Future Of Mechwarrior?

1) someone with a lot of cash to clean up the "unseen" issues.
2) a fully funded development project that would be willing to commit to both single player and multi player games.
3) develop a full engine that could also be used to make a new generation of tesla pods for a new Virtual World arcade system.
Online i would love to see a full set of options for missions where you could sign up in a lobby to play a given mission and take on a role in that mission like sout, escort, defence etc...
and have the mission commadner be able to kick players that fail to follow mission plan etc...
Microsoft: if they are not going to develop the games they need to give up the rights to the name and properties .... or if they want to keep the rights then they need to do something like item #1 to help others be able to develop games w/o the legal jungle on mech designs.
