Hi all, im totally noob to the game :)

I managed to customize my 1srt mech with the lasers etc i wanted, i've spent my pilot xp for upgrades etc etc

And i have bought the fibro-ferrous armor upgrade BUT i dont understand how to switch from normal to fibro armor...i mean i can put down normal armor to zero but i cant select the fibro to replace it :)

My mech is a HBK-4P

Thanks in advance

Once you have switched to ferro fibrous armor your 'Mech is outfitted with it. You will notice that you can apply more armorpoints per ton than with standard armor.

If you bought the Ferro Fibrous upgrade, all the armor on your 'mech automagically becomes Ferro Fibrous.

Edit: derp.

It's automatic. Once you buy it, it will become FF.

Also if you roll back to standar (cuz FF is kinda expensive for repairs) it will replace it automatic.

Nope. You have to pay going both directions.

I purchased the ferro-fibrous upgrade, but then MWonline crashed.

When I logged back in, I can see 251 ferro-fibrous points in my inventory, and my credits reflect the purchase, but my Jenner still shows Standard armor and I can't equip the ferro-fibrous.

Is this normal?

I think that's a bug. Send an email to the support address or post this in the support forum.

Also as a heads up to all the new pilots. Endo-Steel is always a better deal than Ferro-Fibrous. You save more money on the initial cost, save more money on repairs, AND it saves more weight.

Always take Endo-Steel before Ferro-Fibrous.

This. You are better off with Endosteel than FF armor. Every time. Endo will get you more weight savings, which you could then use for more armor. You only get FF armor if you already have Endosteel, still have 14 spaces left, and the mech is otherwise complete. The only mechs that normally fit FF are light mechs with laser weapons, not too many others can spare the space.

Hi!

I want to change the armor or the structure for my mech, but it always saying that i dont have enough place.

I just remove 1 point form leg armor, and the upgrade is avalaible in green, but i didn't see any price in the "total cost" line, and no bouton to click on to buy it.

I think there is something i don't understand

Endo-Steel and Ferro-Fibrious take up 14 critical slots. If you don't have enough open slots, you can't upgrade.

The option to upgrade is in the 'Upgrade' tab of the mechlab, not in the 'Loadout' tab.
