Change Loadout - Mech deleted?

I changed the load out on one of my mechs and it was deleted from my 'owned mechs' inventory.

How do I get it back?

Mechs are never lost or deleted.

If a mech or piece if equipment disappears, reset your client and it will be right where you left it.

I have seen this bug twice now, the workaround is to restart your client, it will be back.

I get this constantly and all my owned mechs that I have selected like to unselect themselves and disappear.. just restart and it should be back...

Truth be told I'm getting so tired of the messed up Mechlab :D Configs don't save.. everytime I buy or replace heatsinks it goes to pot.. gotta restart the client ughhhh!

I hope the patch fixes this

Yeah, the Mechlab is a mess. And not just because of the disappearing equipment and whatnot.
The user interface is not intuitive. At all!

And for a person like me that isn't familiar with Mechwarrior terminologies at all, trying to figure out how to buy and equip your own Mech was... difficult. And I'm still not sure I've got everything right. It's all a big guessing game unless you want to go on youtube or google things. But is it too much to ask to have that information in the game?

It re-appeared when I reset my client

I had this happen too. However, I have a different issue as well. I have a jenner and I got rid of the jump jets in favor of double heatsinks. That worked just fine. However, when I tried to max out my weight by adding additional armor, everytime I do it, it pauses, and then comes back, but cancels the armor addition. It's repeatable.

Where do I go to report an official bug? here?

This doesn't always work with equipment, i have lost AMS and an engine since open beta has launched... 5mill down the pan and no way to recover it.

I seem to have lost a full Jenner-D. I've restarted multiple times tonight, and it's not back yet. Any ideas?

This happened with me also. But after a client restart, the mech reappeared.

(I made a repair, without rearm. Then modified the medium laser to small on my commando. Save, launch, and got a warning message about mech's ammunition is not full. Then I got an error message something like "undefined error". Then my mech disappeared form the mechlab.)

Mine is really similar, except for the reappearing... It's been hours, and the poor lil guy is just gone. I already contacted support, I was just wondering if anyone had experienced a permanent disappearance before.

I saw someone report his founders mech missing from similar symptoms. I can't remember who or if he found it again. At least you're not alone in your troubles.
But I agree - the mechlab is pants from a stability as well as usability perspective at the moment.

I have logged on, played a while, bought a light mech, then logged out. At a later date I log back in and find that I only have my founders mech and not the one I have bought. It was just gone. I later tried buying another light mech and configured it the way I wanted it, then after finishing for the evening, logged out. I just logged in again and the new light mech I had bought is gone! All I have is my founders mech.

Does this sound like something you are experiencing? Does anyone know why this is happening?

Same problem, how are you guys "resetting your client", are you just talking about quitting the game completely and then relaunching from the the launcher?, I like this game enough to put in a ticket and try to get my mech back, HBK-4SP, fully customized to my liking, all my cbills.. but i don't like this game enough to go through another 2 weeks of grinding on trial mechs, sorry don't like this game that much.

I logged on yesterday after not playing for maybe a month or two and everything is gone... Resetting the client does nothing. GG

Because chances are we have a faster fix. Support takes a few hours to get back to ya.

As a last resort:

All of your inventory is server side as the system of record. A complete delete and re-install from scratch (including deleting any files stored in the folders) should recover everything the server recognizes as yours. Alternatively, you could log into your account from a different machine and see what's there.
