Oh you fell for it! Here is my question:
So, can we expect to see the next few mech's that are supposed to be added when ever the next patch, to be true to there price on Sarna, net , then can we expect the MC prices to be the same fraction of the cost? For example:
The Hunchback 4G cost 3,467,875 C-bills on sarna.net (I think it's 200,000 more in the Mech Lab) but (a rough estimate I'm not looking at it currently) about 1,750 MC (Mech Credits)
And an Atlas cost roughly (Sarna isn't loading) 9,000,000-11,000,000 C-bills based from the variants, and cost roughly 4,500 MC.

So my question is that on the new mechs if you guys stick to the info like on Sarna will the MC cost roughly the same amount?

The Cataphract CTF-3D cost 13,000,000 C-bills, so would I have to save, ehh lets say 5,250 MC to buy it? What are your percentage/fraction that they use to get the MC cost?

Anyone have any other thoughts or opinions on anything I have asked or said? Or where else I should post this?

I probably should post this in the "Developers Corner".

theyre probably going to normalize the price based on the value of the equipment it carries its definitely going under WIP right now

If I remember correctly PGI has bumped up the c-bill cost of the mechs a bit higher then what is on sarna.net to coinside what the MC rate is. if this is correct then PGI should have lowerd the MC cost of mechs to keep the orignial c-bills in place.

If I am wrong with this can someone please explain in greater detail?

yes, sorta

last patch they standardized the mc:cbill rate (~2490cbills -> 1mc) for all mechs. they also deviated from the lore cost of mechs, adjusting the cost depending on carried equipment, so things like the atlas K with its expensive xl engine, gauss, er llas, etc, cost more than other variants with standard engines and less pricey equipment

so bottom line, while it may cost 5.2k mc to buy it if it stayed at 13m, there's no guarantee it will stay at 13m

I assume that the rising cost of future/higher tech/higher tier mechs will require that MC costs eventually hit a cap, and previous mechs be decreased in price as newer mechs come online...it'll likly be awhile before we'd see that though.
