It seems like the biggest break of immersion for me is based off of the deaths in the game. With no ejections, when my mech goes down, I feel like I should have too. It's a weird break in everything for me as a player. It seems like we should be ejecting when we can. Sort of like in Mech Commander where your pilots were ejected, but could be killed if the mech was beheaded.
If our mech is destroyed by being beheaded, the ejection wouldn't work out and as a pilot I would be caught in the mess. You can't really kill a player off like you could the pilots in Mech Commander, but you could at least put in some sort of mechanic for small cbill loss for medical bills (I imagine they would still be cheaper than repairing the mechs, I'm a lot smaller to fix.) To balance that out, you could also add money gain for head kills. It would up the stakes a little, IMO.
I don't know, maybe it would make for some imbalance against mechs that are more easily beheaded but it would make me feel more "in the game."

This has been brought up time and time again. They don't want to put ejection into the game due to the possible rampant abuse to it. Same reason World of Tanks took out the Scuttle option.

That easy enough to limit, don't let people choose when to eject. It would really be nice to be flung up into the atmosphere when your mech "dies". I can't see how that would hurt the game mechanics. I definitely understand that the devs have a lot on their plates, but this plays to immersion within the game.

If it was an automated thing that'd be cool... Except when you're in a cave or under bridge. But getting an aerial view of the battle field while you're flying sky high and 50kph would be pretty awesome.

Medical bills?! Really? In the trial mechs I only eke out ~60K in a loss and ~90K in a win. Getting C-Bills to get my better mechs back is hard enough as it is, I for one don't want it to be made harder for a fairly arbitrary reason.
