Hi,

just gonna put this in here, even though it probably has been brought up before. Its just that the forum search engine is really **** :(

In order for newcomers to not leave the game due to frustration MWO really needs an offline arena with some dummy mechs just standing there, where new players can get an idea about the weapons, weapon groups, controls and the general feel of the game.

Shouldn't be too much work. Its just a "trial ground" button in the launcher, firing up forrest colony map, putting 5 mechs on it that dont move and act as cannon fodder.

Sessions ends if all are dead of the player quits via ESC.

It will help to keep new players.

Just my 2 cent.

This would be really nice for testing new weapon loadouts as well. Especially if you could choose what the target mechs are, and if 1-2 of the mechs walked/ran small circles or something like that.

There is a post... on the same page... about this exact stuff... I understand being to lazy to do a search... But now you're just being to lazy to read the first page of suggestions before you post... HERE
