so i asked Ironhawk to work out some orthographical views of the Urban-Mech.
so this happened:
very excellent drawings, thanks Ironhawk !
and i then started doing this:
and this is the current status of the master i´m building up
It is made out of styrene sheet in different thicknesses. from around 0.3 - 2.0 mm and some other sheet materials, like a thicker foam sheet of about 5-6 mm.
These are only some rough parts right now, detailing follows later on.
Scale is very close to 1/100, this will make the Mech about 80 mm in hight (picture above)
I felt this size would be very nice and easy to work with, and i´m pleased with it yet.
I will update this threat every time i gotta show something new about this project.
Also i plan to make some recasts of it in the future, as i´m a miniature painter on the other side, i can´t wait to paint it up

And Ironhawk should be recruited by PGI, that Urbanmech is sexy.

i only made one of them as a master, cause they are nearly completely similar on both sides to each other.
Then made a mould for it, to make two copies of it.
The mould came out pretty well, and i will cast the first one today.
progress of the leg master
the plates on the backside, made of .5 styrene and carved some lines
making the mould box with supersculpey to get it nice and firm
the finished first side of the mould (sorry forgot to take some more pics in between the steps here)
next step will be to cast two of them and work out the details of each side of the legs

Only one bubble at the top on the first one, but solved this problem by cutting some more air vents into the silicone.
maybe i´ll work some more details out of them today
@ Adridos:
thats right, Ironhawk and myself will discuss this, and when i get to finish this project we will see

here you can see some first panel lines carved on some parts, also made some connection spots for better glueing together all the parts when casted in resin.
next update should be around sunday
and a big thanks for all the likes yet, this community rocks !
