If you noticed some Davion pilots on the global leader boards of recent tournaments, most of them are from our unit:

Be a Hero Challenge:
Blood Bear and Ragnerok made the top 25 overall.
That Dee Bloke ranked 3rd overall in Medium class.

Top Gun Challenge:
That Dee Bloke took 12th on the overall leader board for all 3 stages.
Coburn and That Dee Bloke were in the Top 15 for multiple segments and at least one overall stage each.
Peter2000, Maple Nachiman, and Balcifer were in the Top 15 for one segment each.

Congrats to our pilots on their great tournament performances - Much deserved given their skills that I've witnessed in drops with each of them!

I saw this headhunters forums thread when I was looking through the house forums. I'd been playing as a lone wolf up till that point, and I was looking for somewhere I could start running in organized drops. From the moment I joined the teamspeak the Headhunter's members were helpful and welcoming. I applied almost immediately and am loving being a headhunter.

I love that I can get on at anytime and there are always friendly people around to drop with or answer any questions I have. Having an good group of people on teamspeak has made playing the game so much more enjoyable. Being able to get on if you just feel like dropping or if you feel like talking tactics and builds and always having people around who share your enjoyment of the game has made my entire Mechwarrior experience so much more fun.

I stumbled upon this thread back in October 3049, joined the TS channel for 1 hour late one night... and that was it. This is by far the best group of guys I've ever had the pleasure of gaming with. A spectacular knowledge base; a great congregation of strategic minds; an unmatched cadet training regime. Always, always people to drop with on TeamSpeak, any hour of the day, since we have regiments from around the globe! I started out as a recruit just like everyone else, and thanks to the help of command, I've risen to the rank of Leftenant and command a company of my own.

If you are looking for a righteous, energetic, and mature group of men and women that love being mechwarriors and love being a part of something, your search WILL end here!

I've been with HHoD for about 8 years now, and they are great. I love gaming, and MW, but the main reason I play now is the group of people we have gathered. It's fun to play with other people who share your passin...

HHoD is now over 450 members, and well over half of them are active, 3-5 times a week players. We accept people of all skill levels, and try to make things fun while still dropping in a competitive manner.

I am glad I joined them years ago, glad we now have a game to play again, and honored to play with my fellow teammates, both new and old. If you would like to be one of them, please drop into our Teamspeak server and play a few. The rest will take care of itself.

I joined the Headhunters during closed beta (or shortly thereafter)they have taken a green, old Mechwarrior and turned him into a Lion (well at least a housecat) there is a mix of awesome pilots, good pilots and new pilots, the likes of which I have never seen. If you want to be competitive and regimented, come play in an eight man with our units. Want to play a little loosey goosier? hit the teamspeak server and find some guys. There is almost ALWAYS someone on-line and playing. we have some advanced training, as well as some basic piloting skills seminars and trainers.
I have been a gamer since the late 70's (yes thats right) this is the most fun I have ever had, and a wonderful experiance, every single time out.
Even the upper brass are approacheable and helpful (and they will play, A LOT, not always the case in units like this. Take a chance, come play with us, gain 450 new friends...........
P.s. we have a wonderful mech bay chock full of tried and true builds, just waiting for you to plunder!!!

One thing to consider when looking at HHoD is the variety of players you get to play with.

If you are a competitive gamer we have an entire Battalion of guys that are very focused on Community Warfare and competition play. We also have a full Battalion of guys who are just casual players dropping for fun as a group. If you are playing from Europe or Australia we have a full Regiment devoted entirely to non-North American players.
