I think it's a toss up between heat and matchmaking at this point.

Added Crashes , programming, netcode, as they are valid.

Added Money as an issue.

Added frontend interface issues.

Added New Players Intro.

I don't see an option for technical issues (regular crashes to desktop for many players), or front end issues (lack of lobby system, etc).

All the content and gameplay balance issues will be dealt with over time. Getting the basic groundwork done in the other areas is far more important.

Agreed, all this poll shows is what people shouldn't be whining about, as all of these things will be dealt with in time.

Interesting, thanks Jacmac, a poll without a nerf agenda.

None of the above: My #1 issue is the forums being clogged with junk threads.

I was going to say "the business model" but it isn't an option.

I notice it isn't on your list, but I would say: the lack of available (and functioning) equipment.

Lights and Mediums have a lot of their utility reduced without functioning sensors, jammers, targeting equipment, stealth equipment etc.

It's a pretty minor complaint, considering the game is still in Beta.

My biggest problem is Hit detection, with Australia latency it's impossible to guess where how far to lead when you have no idea if you're actually hitting or not.. (when that player is taking damage from friends, you have no idea if it's your damage or not)

This is why I play LRM's and Streaks. Making a lot of players further hate LRM's and streaks.

Other issue is rubber banding on stuff every time I jetpack or get close to another mech.. I rubber band on the spot for a good 10-15 seconds often.

My biggest concern is honestly bugs and game stability. Weapon balance and additional content can come after the game is working properly.

The game for me needs more content to really let people enjoy the game. The bugs ect are just blareing obvius right now because we really don't have an "enjoyable" game. Nothing we do matters, the fights ect have no baring on the game what-so-ever. Even if this is Open Beta and there will be no more resets and that means the XP/C-bills you get will stay, it still is quite meaningless if there is nothing to fight FOR.

My biggest issue is the lack of a Bushwacker (a future mech). That aside, I suppose the lack of maps hurts the most so that's my second biggest issue.

For me, it's the economy that is killing the game. It will take me forever to get my next chassis for my elite skills, so it makes playing less appealing than before.

I don't plan on adding in that one, but thanks for the suggestion.

My main problem is the weapon balance. There's some sort of issue going on when multiple weapons are getting little to no use.

Much of that equipment is either not going to appear for some time in universe timeline (Targeting Computer, Stealth Armor) or has very minor benefits (Beagle Active Probe, ECM).

Most of the EW equipment is not really much of a game changer when your opponents are using low tech themselves. It is, for the most part, a counter to other high tech options that come later. (For instance, if your opponents are relying heavily on C3 networks or Artemis IV, then yes, ECM is a massive boon)

Playing in pub matches only to have 3 of my teammates overheat explode and quit after saying "I'm farming Cbills as fast as I can!" ---I really think leavers need to be penalized by revoking all of their potential earnings no matter whether or not they kill themselves before they leave, also when other people randomely suicide into the enemy and then quit after dying they SHOULD earn cbills but it should be dependent on how long they were in game...

Botters are a problem.

to sum this all up? People who are joining matches and dont even fight, but just join to die and earn cbills are my #1 issue with this game right now. Premades help, but I don't want to avoid new players just because there is a bad exploitative system right now.

multi choice would be perfect..
bugs / netcode / (in order the programing is just a failure... / mechlab com-system / party-system / trial mechs ( remove that aws 8T )

thats pertty much it... i voted for bugs.. oh and if the new repair/ammo system drops in with the same prices.. its pretty much over for me and 12 other players of my grp.. so i dont realy bother at all..

i just hope MW:O will stay alive and they progress with the game ( with only 4k new players since OB launch... ouchie.... )
gl guys..
