The problem with your thinking is this... (This is assuming ANYTHING like what we know) the Clan economy at the start of the invasion is a machine... mechs are provided to true born, they don't pay for them. How will the clan economy look? Cbills? Honor Points?
Its different entirely.. so PGI better magic up something in a hurry.
No reason they have to do anything soon, as the Clans should not be playable in the game for at least a year or two. They have plenty of time to figure out how the Clan economy works once they have the Inner Sphere economy and strategic game going well, as those are the real game in MWO.
All the OP was suggesting is that you can look at how premades wiped out any PUGs they encountered as though the matches were Clan vrs Inner Sphere, and optionally to view play as though that were the case. If you are an I.S. diehard, only play as part of a PUG, and a diehard Clanner, only if you can be part of a full premade.
Of course, we all know that, once/if Clantech is introduced into the game, none of the 'Clan' pilots will ever follow what they say they will, as all they will be playing Clan for is the advantages the tech gives them (any who say otherwise are simply trying to get their tech crutch faster). The results will no doubt be similar to what the introduction of Premades into the game did to it, and no spotting of numbers will change that.
