I opened the client and the patch installed.. first match on River City as soon the countdown timer expired and the match started my FPS bottomed out. I was able to move albeit at 4 FPS and after a few hundred meters it leveled off at 60 then I hard lock up forcing me to CTRL-ALT-DEL my way to task manager to kill the program. Restarted game, next match it locked up at the game lobby in the middle of the countdown and crashed to desktop. Hot patch, hot mess.

Yup, very hot mess. MWO is unplayable at this point for me, I've sent Support Report about it.

This might be related to the old 4fps memory leak lock. Good call on attempted re install. I haven't gotten into game yet so...

Nope, Re-install did not solve the issue.
