I apologize if this thread has been started/finished already, as I suck at ferreting out information on forums.

Are we going to have information before and/or after launch regarding the weapons in-game? Specifically things like heat buildup, damage output, and range? I presume we'll get tonnage if nothing else (as it says in the dev video from IGN on youtube), I'm just wondering how much info we'll get to make "smart" choices regarding weapon loadouts.
